Position Summary:
We are seeking multiple Remote Geospatial Analyst with a strong foundation in geospatial technologies and prior experience supporting the JANUS Geography contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, conditioning, and analyzing geospatial data to generate visualizations and contribute to high-quality GIS products for a variety of mission-focused projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and condition high-quality foundational data and maintain geospatial databases using ArcGIS Pro 3.5+
  • Apply QA/QC protocols to ensure accuracy and integrity of geospatial outputs
  • Leverage imagery to contribute to land and ground cover datasets
  • Collaborate with a remote team of analysts, data managers, and mission leads
  • Use Microsoft Office 365 for reporting, communication, and documentation
  • Maintain file structure and data hygiene using Windows File Explorer and standardized workflows

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MUST HAVE hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro and various extensions
  • MUST HAVE prior JANUS Geography collection and conditioning experience (TDS, MGCP, VISNAV, IWLSISS, etc.)
  • Strong foundational understanding of digitization tools and topological relationships
  • Very high attention to details, can learn and come up to speed very quickly, complete tasks efficiently and accurately, and work very well with the existing team to contribute to meeting project goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows File Explorer

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically distributed team
  • Experience handling large raster datasets and working in a production environment
