Overview:

2020 Companies is now interviewing for a Full-TimeRemoteBusiness Intelligence Analyst Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst helps advance the Company Analytics Department initiative to deliver data-driven-decisions to our clients through continual improvement of existing and future programs. The Business Intelligence Analyst is part of a team that works with internal and external stake holders to collect, model, and analyze data generated by our field sales and merchandising teams.This position is fully remote role.

Required Experience:

  • Experience with GIS/Geospatial tools such as ESRI ARCGIS, QGIS, and/or E-Spatial
  • Power BI or similar application
  • Dash boarding experience
  • Experience with large data sets/databases
  • Solid understanding of VLOOKUPS and advanced Excel functions will be needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Predicative Analytics, such as multiple linear regression analysis

Job Description:

  • Work in partnership with the Director of Analytics to build new dashboards and reports while optimizing existing reports
  • Manage regular data refreshes of client dashboards and reports
  • Work with internal and external leaders to identify opportunities for improvement of key business metrics and overall program performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers, Information Services (IS) team members, and client data providers to collect, clean, and analyze data
  • Establish KPIs to benchmark existing program performance and measure the effectiveness of new business decisions
  • Structure large data sets, create data visualizations, and extrapolate information that can be converted into actionable client recommendations
  • Strategically think though data flow, form a plan of action to troubleshoot any issues, and iterate on the plan as needed
  • Create client facing reports and presentations suggesting new strategies that will improve overall program performance

Performance Measurements:

  • Completion of projects within set timeline expectations
  • Accurate and consistent delivery of technical data

Qualifications:

  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant programs; business, analytics, economics, etc.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience gathering and analyzing data
    • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI (or similar BI tool), Power Query, and PowerPoint
    • Analytically minded with excellent problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of data query, cleaning, and transformation
    • Ability to interpret, visualize, and deliver clear and concise recommendations to key stake holders
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Team player mentality
    • Self-starter with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
    • Ability to adapt to a client-driven work environment
  • Preferred
    • Understanding of and experience with GIS/mapping technology
    • Coding skills in SQL, Python, and/or R
    • Proficient in statistical analysis platforms
    • Technical writing skills
