Join to apply for the Intelligence Analyst | $125/hr Remote | Mercor role at Crossing Hurdles Base Pay Range $105.00/hr - $125.00/hr Organization: Mercor Position: Geopolitics Forecaster Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $105–$125 per hour Location: Remote Duration: Project-based (with potential for extension) Commitment: ~10–40 hours/week, flexible and asynchronous Role Responsibilities Produce structured forecasts on geopolitical events, risks, and regional dynamics. Document reasoning clearly, citing relevant sources and frameworks. Assess political, military, and diplomatic developments using open-source intelligence.

Collaborate with other expert forecasters to compare and refine outputs. Support the design and evaluation of forecasting tasks. Requirements Background in political science, international relations, security studies, or related fields.

Demonstrated forecasting experience or tournament participation (e.g., GJ Open, Metaculus). Ability to synthesize complex geopolitical information into structured insights. Excellent written communication and research skills.
