Overview
As an experienced, creative, Geospatial Configuration Analyst with proven technical skills and a consultative mindset, you will focus on designing, developing, and implementing complex technical solutions and helping to set future directions in a changing GIS technology world. If you are selected for this role, you will be surrounded by Geospatial Professionals in one of the largest Geospatial Companies in the Industry. You will be on a team that leverages agile development best practices to support the Air Force Intelligence Community.
Work Environment:
  • Location: Scott Air Force Base - Belleville, IL (This is not a remote position)
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
  • Travel < 20% of the time

Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements and document Application Workflows and Data Flows
  • Configure Solutions using ESRI Out of the Box Technology such as Experience Builder
  • Designing and developing customized ESRI ArcGIS web applications and widgets

Qualifications
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography/GIS, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with web application development; as well as configuring and customizing user tools, commands, and user interface using programming languages, APIs and techniques, including at least one (1) year experience developing geospatial mapping/analysis applications in an ESRI and open source environments
  • Demonstrated experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions using ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and QGIS in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively as part of a project team, and communicating effectively (oral and written)
  • Experience with web development languages (e.g. HTML, HTML5, CSS) and relevant scripting languages (e.g. Python), development tools and interchange formats (e.g. JavaScript, .NET, JSON, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with creation and management of map services and web-based content including REST based OGC-compliant services and software applications (ArcGIS Server)
  • Demonstrated expertise in ESRI Installation/Configuration as well as creation and management of map services and web-based content
  • Demonstrated knowledge of geodatabase platforms such as PostgreSQL and Oracle

Experience Preferred (in addition to requirements):
  • Demonstrated experience with configuing cloud tools and technologies (exposure to AWS environments)
  • Familiarity with standard software development protocols and coding standards
  • Application documentation including system design and technical specifications
  • Demonstrated experience with software lifecycle processes and DevSecOps to ensure quality applications are designed, tested and delivered
  • Security + preferred
  • DoD SECRET Clearance
