Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs, utilizing established diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual goals, regularly reviewing and adapting as necessary to ensure efficacy.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to specific diagnoses and client circumstances.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals for holistic client care.
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring protection of sensitive information.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and case conferences while engaging in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Little Fuse, you will serve a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance abuse issues. The role requires not only therapeutic finesse but also the ability to empathize and build strong rapport with clients from differing backgrounds. Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience conducting both individual and group therapy within mental health contexts.
• A strong command of evidence-based therapeutic techniques vital for effective mental health treatment.
