Little Fuse Mental and Counseling Center is seeking a passionate and licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role focuses on providing comprehensive mental health support to our diverse client base located in Hialeah, Florida, equipping individuals with the skills they need to navigate their emotional challenges. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs, utilizing established diagnostic tools and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Little Fuse, you will serve a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance abuse issues. The role requires not only therapeutic finesse but also the ability to empathize and build strong rapport with clients from differing backgrounds. Your commitment is crucial in assisting clients to develop resilience and improved coping mechanisms.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
  • A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting both individual and group therapy within mental health contexts.
  • A strong command of evidence-based therapeutic techniques vital for effective mental health treatment.
