Job description

Full-Stack Software Engineer (Remote)
Quorus | Early-Stage Fintech Startup
Salary: $130k-$180k + 0.25%-0.75% Equity
Quorus is transforming how asset managers deliver their investment strategies. Our platform helps top-tier asset managers offer ETFs and mutual funds as tax-aware separately managed accounts (SMAs) to advisors and their clients. We're backed by experienced founders and already powering live accounts-this is your chance to shape the foundation of a category-defining fintech company.
We're hiring two full-stack software engineers as employees #5 and #6. You'll be part of the core team, building critical infrastructure, delivering features end to end, and influencing product and technical direction.
What You'll Do
  • Own and build full-stack features: from data pipelines and APIs to UIs and customer workflows.
  • Collaborate directly with founders on product, architecture, and prioritization.
  • Work in a modern TypeScript/React + Python/Postgres stack, deployed on Azure.
  • Solve hard problems in tax optimization, account abstraction, and system reliability.
  • Help define the culture, best practices, and engineering standards at Quorus.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in a modern web stack-ideally TypeScript, React, Python, SQL.
  • Experience building, shipping, and maintaining production software.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration; you've thrived in a startup or small-team environment.
  • High ownership and product sense-you care about the "why" behind what you build.
  • Background in finance or fintech is a bonus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Senior-Level: $130,000-$180,000 + 0.25%-0.75% equity
  • Fully remote, U.S. time zones preferred
  • Hardware/Office stipend and generous PTO

Why Quorus?
At Quorus, you won't just write code-you'll help build the company. You'll have outsized impact on a technically rigorous platform solving real-world problems in wealth management. If you're looking for ownership, autonomy, and a world-class team to grow with, we'd love to meet you.
Quorus is an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
