Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DevOps Lead based in Netherlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DevOps professional to lead the design, automation, and optimization of modern cloud infrastructure supporting advanced cybersecurity solutions. You will play a pivotal role in improving software delivery, infrastructure reliability, and developer productivity while collaborating across engineering, operations, customer-facing teams, and product stakeholders. Working in a fully remote environment, you'll take ownership of complex technical challenges, implement scalable DevOps practices, and drive continuous improvements across the software development lifecycle. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, AI infrastructure optimization, and modern deployment strategies while making a direct impact on mission-critical platforms.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of DevOps processes, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate cloud provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, and application deployments.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices to improve software delivery speed, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, customer-facing teams, and operations to support cloud and on-premises deployments across diverse customer environments.
  • Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency through monitoring, optimization, and automation.
  • Automate server provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Optimize AI infrastructure, including hardware selection, model deployment, and inference environments.
  • Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle by enhancing developer experience, reducing operational overhead, and promoting DevOps best practices.
  • Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using Python or Golang when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a senior DevOps or technical leadership role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering Linux systems and networking technologies, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and routing.
  • Solid expertise with Git, GitOps workflows, GitLab CI, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Proven experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Docker, Containerd, and Packer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, IAM, CloudTrail, S3, VPC, and related cloud infrastructure components.
  • Professional experience developing automation using Python or Golang.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
