Job description

Generative AI Producer (Creative)
5+ Month W2 Contract
San Jose, CA preferred, or Remote (US)

Here's how you'll become a key player with this opportunity:

We're seeking a highly creative Generative AI Producer who can produce email content, video, static images, music/audio, text, and other modalities using the latest generative AI models. You'll translate creative direction and performance feedback into high‑quality, on‑brand assets, rapidly iterate variations, and build repeatable workflows that scale output while preserving craft quality.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:

  • Create multimodal content (video, images, text, music), combining tools and techniques to ship campaign‑ready assets at high velocity.
  • Prototype and iterate quickly including generative ai tools - generate many variants, work with marketers to run controlled experiments, and select winners based on creative judgment and performance metrics (e.g., engagement, CTR, conversion).
  • Integrate feedback from marketing performance data; synthesize notes into precise prompts, control signals, or edits to improve output quality.
  • Guardrails & rights: apply brand, safety, accessibility, and data/IP usage policies; ensure licensing and attribution are respected across assets.
  • Stay current: track state‑of‑the‑art models and releases; recommend adoption paths and evaluate trade‑offs (quality, latency, cost, licensing).
  • Light post‑production as needed: compositing, color, audio mixing, subtitles/captions, and format adaptation across channels.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • BS, BA or MS preferred
  • Hands‑on portfolio spanning multiple modalities (links or reels). Show your prompt craft, references you used, and final outcomes.
  • Production‑grade proficiency with leading generative models and control tools (text‑to‑X, image‑to‑X, video‑to‑X, audio‑to‑X), including techniques like image conditioning, keyframing/controls, masking, in/out‑painting, and style/character consistency.
  • Workflow & scripting aptitude for repeatability (e.g., prompt templating, API use, or node/graph UIs).
  • Creative fundamentals: composition, lighting, motion, typography, sound design, storytelling.
  • Data‑informed creativity: familiarity with A/B testing, marketing KPIs, and how creative choices influence performance.
  • Content governance: understanding of usage rights, licensing, and brand/safety guidelines for AI‑generated media.

Pay Range:

$75.00 - $82.39/hour

Benefits That Matter to You:

  • NextDeavor offers health, vision and dental benefits for contract employees
  • Paid sick leave eligibility is contingent on state of residence
  • Optional 401k Plan (excludes employer match)
