WHY WE'RE LOOKING:
We are looking to grow our team with a Director of Marketing who can drive our brand, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy across our portfolio of SaaS brands. This role is crucial in shaping how we engage dealerships, expand market share, and communicate the value of DealerBuilt's solutions. Your expertise will play a vital role in fueling our growth and positioning DealerBuilt as the leading innovator in dealership technology.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Player / Coach role with significant weighting on doing the work and building systems from scratch
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with DealerBuilt's vision and growth objectives.
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and communications across all channels to ensure a consistent and compelling voice in the market.
  • Drive demand generation programs, including targeting, contact appending, digital marketing, campaigns, and account-based marketing to support sales pipeline growth.
  • Lead internal resource for design work and potentially an agency contractor for special needs.
  • Collaborate with and leverage Sales, Sales Operations, RevOps, Product, Success, and Solution Engagement teams to drive content, campaign ideas, accuracy and positioning of messaging, and insights to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.
  • Project management style focus for industry events to ensure execution and return on investment.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on marketing effectiveness while using insights to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with CRO and Director of Sales Operations to ensure business priorities have strong strategy, plans, execution, and metrics.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, related field, or work experience equivalent.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of automotive SaaS industry and dealership technology solutions is REQUIRED.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, and product marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-making mindset with a creative and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Websites and HubSpot (or other Marketing Automation Tools)
