Job Summary:
We are excited to announce we are looking for Nurses to support our Patient Support Program as a resource for patients living with acromegaly. Our nurses will provide education about specific disease treatments and resources to empower patients to understand and manage their disease state. Nurses are responsible for one on one communications with patients as well as medical professionals associated with the treatment process.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties / Responsibilities:
» Answers calls in a professional and timely manner.
» Document review of prescriptions, case notes and appointment results.
» Adverse Event review and reporting as necessary.
» Initiate case creation in CRM.
» Participate in scheduling process from start to finish by scheduling and confirming appointments with patients and network clinicians.
» Assist in determining that each appointment is staffed with a properly credentialed clinician for the appointment location.
» Document case details in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
» Place outbound calls and text messages to patients and network clinicians.
» Answer incoming calls, text messages, and email correspondence.
» Provide program coverage as needed when team members are out of office.
» Escalate issues to leadership and work on Program improvements
» Assist patients in finding resources for their disease state in their area
» Educating patients on disease state
» Coordinate and facilitate the connection between patients and program approved, patient-based resources.
» Provide direct educational training to patients and assigned medication.
» Provide patient-focused education to promote behavioral change for the empowerment of patients to improve specific treatment compliance
» Foster appropriate dialogue between patient and health care provider
Qualifications
» Active Nursing License in good standing
» Bilingual in English/Spanish required
» Minimum of 2+ years of recent nursing experience that includes, but not limited to direct patient care, physical assessment, patient education, group in -servicing and proficiency in peripheral access.
» Proven success utilizing good communication, speaking, and writing skills when interacting with customers.
» Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially MS Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
» Experience with Salesforce, the Customer Relationship Management System (preferred).
» Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
» Ability to interact courteously and professionally with patients and clinical staff.
» Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
» Nurse educator experience preferred
» Ability to work independently and as a team player.
» Knowledge of clinical data and pharmacology
» Demonstrated time management skills; planning and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlines
» Travel up to 15%.

The potential base pay range for this role is $90,000-$97,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
