Job description

Job Description: @VOTE is looking for a Greek Life Strategic Specialist to drive voter outreach and engagement within the sorority and fraternity communities nationwide. This role will focus on building meaningful relationships with Greek Life chapters to increase their participation in voter mobilization efforts, and campus events, and critical projects advancing our mission to empower student voters. Day-to-day tasks involve outreach to chapter leaders, coordinating campus campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams on voter registration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for civic engagement and is well-versed in Greek Life culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sorority and fraternity chapters across campuses to encourage active participation in voter outreach initiatives.
  • Research new student leads and host informative voter engagement meetings.
  • Lead outreach efforts including presentations, chapter meetings, and voter registration drives tailored specifically for Greek Life organizations.
  • Track chapter participation in voter outreach efforts and provide regular reports on engagement metrics and impact.
  • Stay informed on Greek Life trends and campus culture to refine outreach strategies and enhance campaign relevance.
  • Represent the organization at Greek Life conferences, campus events, and partner meetings to strengthen visibility and relationships.
  • Maintain an active calendar of national chapter activities and timelines to optimize campaign timing and visibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong familiarity with Greek Life structures, trends, and culturepreferably with experience as a member of a fraternity or sorority.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities effectively.
  • Passion for civic engagement and empowering students to register and vote.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.

WOW SKILLS:

  • Active or alumni experience in a fraternity or sorority.
  • Experience leading campus initiatives or Greek Life-related programming.
  • Knowledge of student voting behaviors and political landscapes affecting youth turnout.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to design engaging, culturally relevant campaigns and events for Greek Life audiences.
