The Foster Future Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality counseling services. • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Lead therapy sessions that incorporate both individual and couple’s counseling, utilizing evidence-based approaches to guide therapeutic practices.
• Regularly meet with clients to monitor their progress, provide therapeutic support, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Stay informed about advancements in the field by actively participating in professional development opportunities and supervision.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed, referring clients to specialists for integrated care whenever necessary.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress to adapt treatment strategies effectively.

You will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. By fostering a safe and empathetic space, you will empower clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, equipping them with coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

• Valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, demonstrating the ability to engage and motivate clients towards positive change.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, necessary for effective collaboration within our outpatient team.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly valued.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders will enhance your role.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy or counseling is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
