The Foster Future Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality counseling services. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
  • Lead therapy sessions that incorporate both individual and couple’s counseling, utilizing evidence-based approaches to guide therapeutic practices.
  • Regularly meet with clients to monitor their progress, provide therapeutic support, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field by actively participating in professional development opportunities and supervision.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed, referring clients to specialists for integrated care whenever necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. By fostering a safe and empathetic space, you will empower clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, equipping them with coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, demonstrating the ability to engage and motivate clients towards positive change.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, necessary for effective collaboration within our outpatient team.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly valued.

  • At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy or counseling is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
