Allegiance Wealth Management practice is a growing, high-performing wealth management team committed to delivering proactive financial planning, strong client service, and scalable operational support as the business continues to expand through both organic growth and acquisition.

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join the team in a highly flexible, “utility player” role supporting advisors across planning, trading, client service, and meeting preparation functions.

This role is ideal for someone who is already industry-experienced and can step in with a short learning curve, contribute quickly, and operate across multiple functions in a fast-paced advisory environment.

Position Overview

The Paraplanner will serve as a key support resource to advisors by managing meeting preparation, client follow-up, trading support, and ongoing service needs. This individual will also participate in client meetings as needed, ensuring accurate documentation, seamless follow-up, and a high-quality client experience.

This role is designed for a versatile professional who can operate independently while also collaborating closely with advisors and the broader service team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide client-facing support, including responding to service requests and coordinating with advisors as needed
  • Assist in onboarding and ongoing account maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates within CRM and financial planning systems
  • Support advisors in delivering a high level of client service and responsiveness
  • Help manage workflow across multiple households and advisors in a growing practice

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Prior experience in a paraplanner, client service, or operations support role strongly preferred
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior wealth management or advisory firm experience, specifically Ameriprise Financial
  • Active licensing or ability to obtain required licenses:
  • SIE
  • Series 7
  • Series 66
  • Strong understanding of financial services workflows, client servicing, and advisor support
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience is prioritized over formal degree requirements

Preferred Experience

  • Financial planning tools (e.g., MoneyGuide or similar platforms)
  • Morningstar
  • PMT / AMT systems
  • CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar)
  • Trading and account servicing systems
  • Prior Ameriprise experience strongly preferred but not required

Growth & Development

This role offers flexibility in career direction based on interest and performance, including:

  • Potential pathway into Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) track
  • Expanded financial planning and client-facing responsibilities over time
  • Opportunity to remain in a long-term paraplanner/utility support role

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience - $78,000 - $95,000
  • Exempt
  • Bonus opportunities based on performance
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance benefit
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • 6-month eligibility period; enrollment begins the following month
  • Paid time off (PTO), accrued and increasing with tenure
  • 11 paid holidays annually

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Fully remote position
  • Collaborative and team-oriented culture with strong communication expectations
  • Occasional flexibility required based on client and advisor needs
  • Strong preference for candidates comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Open to most U.S. time zones; Midwest/Pacific preferred
