Conduct risk assessments and develop plans for hazardous energy control and safe work practices during outages or repair work. Ensure hazards are analyzed and identified in accordance with OSHA requirements. Ensure corrective action is taken for deficiencies in domestic water, critical water, steam distribution, condensate return, sanitary sewer, and stormwater drainage systems. Plan work proactively to repair or replace systems identified through facility condition assessment reports. Supervise permanent and temporary employees in pipe and laundry/dietetics areas. Install, maintain, and repair piping and plumbing systems and fixtures. Install, maintain, and repair laundry and dietetic equipment. Ensure proper tools and materials are available to complete assigned work. Manage multiple maintenance contracts, equipment purchases, and supply purchases. Serve as a purchase card holder and reconcile charges, or supervise the reconciliation process, to ensure all reconciliations are completed on time and according to policy.
