Description

The ServiceNow Developer and System Administrator supports, enhances, and maintains the ServiceNow platform. This dual-role position involves both backend development and platform administration to ensure the system remains scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Please note: This position is part of a proposal effort and will be filled only upon contract award.

ยท Designs, develops, and implements custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio.

ยท Maintains and administers ServiceNow applications, modules, and update sets.

ยท Implements system enhancements, integrations, and new applications based on business requirements.

ยท Performs regular system audits, upgrades, and patching activities.

ยท Creates and maintains documentation for technical architecture, configuration, and user guides.

ยท Monitors system performance and resolve issues in a timely manner.

ยท Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, and custom applications.

ยท Manages user roles, access control, and security configurations.

Qualifications

ยท 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and system administration

ยท Proficiency with Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, and UI Policies

ยท Experience configuring and maintaining ServiceNow core modules (e.g., Incident, Change, Asset, CMDB)

ยท ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ยท Strong understanding of REST/SOAP integrations and data mapping

ยท Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

ยท ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), preferred

ยท Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, ITAM, or SecOps modules, preferred

ยท Prior experience in enterprise environments with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies, preferred

ยท Familiarity with Nuvolo or other industry-specific applications built on ServiceNow, preferred

Compensation

  • $80,000- $160,000 annual. Salary is dependent upon experience level and qualifications/certifications
