• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health statuses through telehealth consultations.
• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting mental wellness and resilience.
• Regularly engage with clients through one-on-one sessions, providing support and the necessary tools to navigate their challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or medical doctors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans as needed to ensure client well-being.
• Participate in ongoing clinical training and supervision to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Healing Garden Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population, each presenting a unique set of challenges. Patients may seek your expertise for issues related to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and substance use. A deep understanding of various mental health conditions is crucial, as is the ability to employ culturally sensitive practices that resonate with clients from different backgrounds.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license in the state of Texas as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of hands-on experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Ability to demonstrate cultural competence and deliver inclusive therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with EHR systems and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

• Experience providing group therapy and psychoeducational sessions.
• Skill in crisis intervention and managing high-risk client situations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery best practices.
