Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to manage and support a portfolio of personal insurance clients. This role is responsible for providing exceptional client service, processing policy changes, supporting new and renewal business, and maintaining accurate account documentation. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with personal insurance experience, technical knowledge, and a customer-focused approach. This position plays a key role in building client relationships, supporting retention, and ensuring timely, accurate service throughout the policy lifecycle.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time remote position supporting our office located in Media, PA.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines accounts, providing timely and professional support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and account activity within the agency management system and electronic files.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, insurance carrier representatives, and internal team members.
  • Prepare and maintain client-facing presentation documents and policy-related materials.
  • Review new business and renewal policies for accuracy, requesting corrections and following up as needed.
  • Process policy change requests, endorsements, billing items, and related service transactions in a timely manner.
  • Issue new and renewal automobile ID cards and other policy documentation as needed.
  • Utilize carrier online systems to process service requests, obtain information, and support account activity.
  • Market new and renewal business as needed, including carrier selection, online rating, and coverage analysis.
  • Respond to client claim inquiries, direct clients to the appropriate carrier resources, and provide support throughout the claims process as needed.
  • Stay informed on personal insurance products, carrier guidelines, technology platforms, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience preferred.
  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Associate degree required.
  • Experience with EPIC agency management system preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, rating, policy servicing, and carrier procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and carrier online platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in a remote work environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong comparative and technical insurance knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, client-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 depending on the candidates experience

*A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
