Segment Owner (VP / Director of Segment Growth) – Residential & Commercial Real Estate
USA Remote

THE ROLE:

  • We are hiring a Segment Owner to lead the full commercial performance of the company's Residential Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate segments, including the Property Management and Short-Term Rental subsegments. You will own the strategy, go-to-market execution, product feedback loop, partner ecosystem, and revenue growth for two of the company's largest and most competitive markets
  • This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. The position is centered on marketing and product marketing, where you'll shape positioning, messaging, segmentation, and go-to-market strategy while owning revenue performance. Depending on experience, the title may be VP of Segment Growth or Director of Segment Growth

  • Segment strategy, including ideal customer profiles (ICP), personas, segmentation, and buyer behavior across Residential, Commercial, Property Management, and Short-Term Rental markets
  • Revenue growth through new customer acquisition, expansion, and win-back initiatives
  • Go-to-market strategy, product launches, channel selection, and event planning
  • Competitive intelligence, translating market insights into winning positioning and strategy
  • Product feedback, Voice of Customer initiatives, and roadmap collaboration with Product
  • Strategic partnerships with brokerages, teams, associations, MLSs, commercial real estate firms, coaches, and technology partners
  • Segment-specific programs and marketplace offerings that deliver measurable customer outcomes
  • Sales enablement, internal training, and onboarding support
  • Industry representation through thought leadership, events, and customer engagement
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership

 
ABOUT YOU:
This role requires a unique combination of deep real estate expertise, marketing strategy, and commercial ownership.
 
Deep Residential & Commercial Real Estate Expertise

  • Strong understanding of how residential agents, commercial brokers, and related professionals generate business
  • Established relationships across brokerages, associations, teams, coaches, commercial real estate organizations, and industry partners

Marketing Strategy & Product Marketing Experience

  • Proven ability to develop positioning, messaging, segmentation, competitive strategy, and go-to-market plans that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Experience creating marketing strategies that influence customer acquisition and revenue growth

Revenue Ownership

  • Demonstrated success owning revenue targets and translating strategy into measurable business growth
  • Comfortable being accountable for results, not just activity

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary: Up to $165,000, depending on experience and level
  • On-Target Earnings: $225,000–$250,000 (base + performance-based incentive tied to segment revenue growth)
  • Stock option eligibility
