Position Summary

The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for identifying and executing integrated growth initiatives that drive growth and revenue across all properties, elevate brand presence, expand industry reach, and strengthen organizational positioning.

This role owns qualified lead generation and measurable pipeline growth, with hands-on management of Google Ads and other paid acquisition channels as a primary engine for that growth. This includes strengthening pipeline health, optimizing demand generation programs, and ensuring marketing's contribution to revenue is clearly measurable and continuously improving.

Other key responsibilities include creating compelling sales enablement materials that clearly articulate our unique value propositions and product capabilities; planning and executing live and virtual events; cultivating strategic partnerships and media relationships; and contributing to cross-property marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Paid Acquisition & Pipeline Growth

  • Own and manage Google Ads campaigns end-to-end across all paid channels, with Google Ads as the primary engine: account structure, keyword strategy, bid management, budget pacing, ad copy and landing page testing, and ongoing optimization. Extend the same rigor to paid social, display, and remarketing efforts that align with organizational goals and efforts.
  • Design, execute, and optimize demand generation programs to strengthen pipeline health and conversion rates across the funnel.
  • Own and manage the campaign tracking architecture across all paid channels, including conversion tracking, pixel and tag implementation, and CRM and analytics integration.
  • Own core paid acquisition reporting on a weekly and monthly cadence, including cost-per-lead, marketing-sourced pipeline contribution, and stage-to-stage conversion rates segmented by channel and effort to surface lead volume and average lead value by channel.
  • Evaluate channel and effort ROI across paid media, partnerships, and other efforts to identify which produce the highest-value, best-converting leads; present findings and recommendations to marketing leadership on a recurring basis; and execute approved changes to channel mix, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze campaign and funnel performance to pinpoint underperforming segments, share findings with marketing leadership, and optimize efforts through refined targeting, bidding, and messaging accordingly.

Sales Enablement, Messaging & Campaigns

  • Develop sales enablement materials and platform enhancements (website updates, presentations, one-pagers) that clearly communicate value propositions, differentiators, and product capabilities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing leadership to close content gaps, address objection trends, and equip sales with tools that improve conversion and close rates.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all paid, sales, and marketing assets.

Brand Presence, Discoverability & Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships with associations and aligned outlets, including associated media placements.
  • Plan and execute live and virtual events (webinars) that generate engagement and support pipeline objectives.
  • Research industry trends, competitive gaps, and growth opportunities through market and performance data; propose initiatives to capture demand early.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation and Content Manager on quarterly competitive audits, presenting findings to marketing leadership.
  • Partner with marketing collaborators to optimize the website and marketing content for organic search (SEO): technical health, site structure, on-page optimization, keyword targeting, and closing content gaps to grow qualified organic traffic.
  • Optimize Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) by improving how the brand and its content surface in AI-generated answers and AI search experiences, such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.
  • Track organic and AI-referred visibility, traffic, and pipeline contribution alongside paid channels, and fold those results into the channel-efficacy reporting above.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, with direct, hands-on ownership of Google Ads and paid social campaigns, reporting, and tracking architectures.
  • Proven track record driving qualified pipeline and revenue through paid search and paid social campaigns
  • Experience in developing sales enablement content and collaborating cross-functionally with sales and product teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and a CRM/marketing automation platform (HubSpot experience preferred), including meticulous conversion tracking and tag management (e.g. Google Tag Manager) to accurately attribute outcomes from source to pipeline.
  • Strong analytical skills, including channel- and funnel-level analysis, with comfort presenting data and recommendations to marketing leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong messaging and copywriting skills, with the ability to translate product capabilities into clear value propositions and differentiators across platforms and materials.
  • Google Ads certification preferred, additional paid platform or analytics certifications a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of SEO (technical health, site structure, on-page optimization, and content and keyword strategy) sufficient to grow organic search visibility and qualified traffic is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how brands surface in AI search experiences such as AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, or a demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging search channels. (Preferred)
  • Event and partnership management experience a plus.
