Role Overview
Seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to design, build, test, and support enterprise system integrations and automation solutions. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms, event-driven architecture, Kafka, APIs, and enterprise business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support Workato recipes and enterprise integrations.
  • Develop integrations across business applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, ERP, HRIS, finance, and billing platforms.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Own complex integration workstreams from design through production deployment and ongoing support.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, perform debugging, and implement effective error-handling mechanisms.
  • Improve integration reliability, monitoring, observability, scalability, and reusability.
  • Work with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather requirements and communicate technical trade-offs.
  • Develop and maintain reusable integration patterns, templates, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Proactively identify integration risks, recurring production issues, and opportunities for automation or process improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and support effective project coordination across integration initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise integrations, business systems, or automation engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of streaming architecture, asynchronous processing, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and related event-streaming technologies.
  • Experience with:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP APIs
    • Webhooks
    • Message queues
    • ETL/iPaaS platforms
    • Middleware technologies
  • Strong experience supporting production integrations, including:
    • Error handling
    • Troubleshooting and debugging
    • Monitoring
    • Production support
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications such as:

    • HRIS platforms
    • Finance systems
    • Billing platforms
  • Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
