Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to become an integral part of our remote team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, which includes individuals, couples, families, and groups, particularly focusing on those dealing with various mental health disorders. This role offers the flexibility of a full-time remote setting, allowing our team members to work from the comfort of their own homes while still being connected to a collaborative and multidisciplinary team. Regular communication with colleagues and a variety of resources ensures that you feel supported in your work. Our standard working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring that you maintain a healthy work-life balance without evening or weekend commitments.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address those needs effectively.
• Implement and coordinate a range of behavioral health services, maintaining an evidence-based approach in all treatment modalities.
• Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary primary care team, engaging with staff across different levels, including primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure adherence to mental health policies and procedures, making certain that best practices are followed to guarantee the highest standards of care.
• Perform timely intakes for new patients, delivering respectful and professional counsel during initial evaluations.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to clients, equipping them with the skills necessary to manage immediate challenges.
• Refer clients requiring inpatient treatment or specialty care to appropriate institutions when necessary, always prioritizing the well-being of those you serve.
• Screen patients for substance abuse issues, including prescription drugs and alcohol, directing them to suitable resources when required.
• Foster a supportive environment by providing counseling to patients who test positive for substance abuse, facilitating access to local resources for increased support.

The successful candidate will work primarily with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex issues requiring thoughtful assessments and individualized care plans. Our clientele represents a diversity of backgrounds and experiences, encouraging the LICSW to deliver culturally competent care tailored to each client’s unique context. • A Master’s degree in Counseling and Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid LICSW license to practice in Massachusetts.
• Proven clinical skills and ability to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.
• Exemplary judgment in crisis situations, demonstrating an ability to remain composed and responsive.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interaction and documentation.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within a team framework.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation and patient management.
• Cultural competence to work with a diverse client population.

• Experience in substance abuse treatment and knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) protocols.
• A track record of conducting individual and group therapy in a clinical setting.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to mental health services.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary treatment setting, particularly within a detox or rehabilitation environment.
