Melody Mend Family Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time remote therapist, specializing in empowering individuals and families in the Tampa, Florida area. • Conduct thorough assessments by gathering and analyzing information to identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs through interviews and questionnaires.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive change.
• Design and implement individualized service plans that incorporate clients' goals and objectives, consistently monitoring and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to essential resources, working to eliminate barriers to engagement and advance social justice initiatives within the community.
• Collaborate closely with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance the services offered, ensuring a robust support network for clients.
• Take an active role in program development, contributing to evaluation efforts and grant reporting to secure funding and effectively address community needs.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and engagement.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Melody Mend Family Therapy, you will engage with a wide-ranging client base that includes individuals and families facing an array of challenges, such as mental health disorders, substance abuse, trauma, and socio-economic difficulties. Your work will provide crucial support to those in need, enabling them to overcome barriers and lead fulfilling lives.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge in social justice, advocacy, trauma-informed care, and familiarity with community resources will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, paired with a strong sense of empathy, are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively are crucial.

• Experience working within a non-profit setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, telehealth technology, and methods for remote client engagement.
