This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while delivering services to school systems. You will engage with students during office hours, with potential evening or weekend commitments depending on student and family needs. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments tailored to the school environment, identifying emotional, social, and financial barriers impacting student success.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on adjustment issues, trauma, grief, and coping strategies, actively engaging students in their healing process.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to create and implement targeted intervention plans that enhance student learning and emotional resilience.
• Serve as a liaison with community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring seamless transitions for students requiring continuous support.
• Offer educational workshops to students and parents regarding mental health resources, coping mechanisms, and treatment options, fostering a culture of openness and understanding.
• Participate in school meetings and committees, providing insights on social work matters and advocating for policies that enhance student mental health services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments and interventions, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Your primary focus will be on students in a diverse educational setting, working with individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will provide support to children and adolescents facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral challenges. By collaborating with families and educators, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for all students.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Comprehensive understanding of child development, mental health disorders, and effective intervention methods within a school context.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.

• At least two years of experience in a clinical, healthcare, or school setting.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices in counseling and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to engage students effectively in a remote environment.
