• Develop and implement customized therapy plans based on individual assessments and evaluations to meet each client's unique needs.

• Conduct initial intake assessments and ongoing evaluations, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Provide group and individual therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards related to mental health care.

• Engage in continuous professional development, participating in workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, integrating resources that enhance overall treatment effectiveness.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Masterminds Behavioral Clinic, you will work primarily with underserved populations facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your efforts will directly impact the lives of clients who often experience barriers to accessing mental health services, making it essential to deliver high-quality, empathetic care that promotes their emotional stability and personal growth.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with a diverse clientele.

• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is essential.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technology to streamline clinical processes.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

• Previous experience working with low-income populations facing significant mental health challenges is a distinct advantage.
