Position Overview

iRESTORE is seeking a Senior Manager, Performance Creative to lead the strategy, testing, output, and performance of our paid creative across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, and emerging platforms. We're looking for someone with strong direct-response instincts, sharp creative judgment, and a deep understanding of how customer insights, platform behavior, and performance data intersect to drive business results. The right candidate is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable managing and developing a small team while staying close to concept development, briefing, testing, and performance analysis. This role reports to the Head of Creative & Content, and partners closely with Paid Social, Digital Product, Retention & Lifecycle, Data & BI, and Brand to build a disciplined creative testing system, accelerate learning, and scale what works.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance creative strategy and roadmap across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, and emerging platforms, aligning priorities with media plans, testing needs, and growth goals.
  • Translate business objectives, customer insights, and performance data into clear concepts, briefs, messaging angles, and testing plans.
  • Build and manage a structured testing program across hooks, formats, offers, audiences, customer segments, and stages of the funnel.
  • Evaluate performance using metrics such as hook rate, thumbstop rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA, CAC, and ROAS, with clear recommendations on what to stop, improve, repeat, or scale.
  • Forecast creative volume and develop production plans based on platform needs, spend levels, campaign priorities, funnel stage, fatigue patterns, and refresh cadence.
  • Identify workflow, resourcing, and production gaps early, and build systems that improve creative quality, consistency, and velocity.
  • Manage and develop a small team of creative strategists and production talent, setting clear priorities, feedback, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain customer personas and messaging frameworks using reviews, surveys, CRM insights, customer research, market trends, and creative performance.
  • Translate customer motivations, pain points, objections, proof points, and product education needs into compelling hooks, offers, formats, and calls to action.
  • Establish clear systems for creative intake, naming, tagging, reporting, analysis, and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with Paid Social, Digital Product, Retention & Lifecycle, Data & BI, and Brand to carry winning messages across landing pages, email, SMS, and the broader customer journey.
  • Share creative learnings across teams so paid media insights inform future campaigns and broader customer experience decisions.
  • Stay current on platform trends, direct-response best practices, emerging formats, and AI-enabled creative workflows.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in performance creative, direct-response marketing, creative strategy, growth marketing, or a related DTC or e-commerce role.
  • Proven experience leading performance creative strategy and structured testing programs across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, and other paid media channels.
  • Strong direct-response instincts and the ability to evaluate concepts, hooks, messaging, offers, formats, pacing, and visual execution through both creative and performance lenses.
  • Deep understanding of creative performance metrics, including hook rate, thumbstop rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA, CAC, and ROAS.
  • Experience translating business objectives, media priorities, customer research, and performance data into clear creative briefs, concepts, and production plans.
  • Strong knowledge of creative testing methodology, including test design, variables, naming conventions, tagging, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience forecasting creative volume, managing refresh cadences, identifying fatigue, and planning production around media spend and growth priorities.
  • Proven ability to build scalable creative workflows and identify resourcing, production, or operational gaps before they affect performance.
  • Experience managing and developing creative strategists, editors, designers, or other production talent, with a track record of setting clear priorities and raising the quality of the work.
  • Strong understanding of customer research and messaging development, including the use of reviews, surveys, CRM insights, market trends, and performance data to build personas and messaging frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of landing pages, conversion behavior, product education, and how paid creative connects to the broader customer journey.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with dashboards, attribution platforms, spreadsheets, and creative reporting tools.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and influence skills, with experience partnering across Paid Media, Digital Product, Retention & Lifecycle, Data & BI, Brand, and external creative partners.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable creating structure, making decisions, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • An AI-forward working style, with practical experience applying AI to customer research, concept development, briefing, creative analysis, versioning, or production workflows.
