Job description

Job Title: Compass Rose & Assignment and Attribution (A&A) Loader Implementation SME

Location-Type: 100% Remote (U.S.) Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 6 month contract (through Jan/Feb 2027), with potential for extension Compensation Range: $77-$81/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K

Job Description:

  • Serve as the hands-on Compass Rose subject matter expert for a large health system's active, multi-wave Epic Compass Rose implementation
  • Own weekly build milestones in the POC environment programs, tasks, registries, and care plans and maintain the build tracker through go-live
  • Drive the Wave 2 build (Advanced Primary Care Management and Medication Therapy Management) in parallel with Wave 1 stabilization, testing, and training activities
  • Lead end-to-end Assignment & Attribution Loader workflows: receive rosters from multiple payers, load into test environments, perform iterative testing, and promote to production
  • Support payer platform setup and configuration
  • Partner closely with Epic technical support, the Compass Rose application manager, and an existing Healthy Planet team (team leader, analyst, and consultant)
  • Lead design sessions, workflow reviews, and stakeholder meetings; deliver demos to population health leadership and manage challenging stakeholders with confidence
  • Mentor and elevate the internal team's Compass Rose capabilities while building teach as you go, not from the sidelines
  • Develop workflow documentation, training materials, and operational readiness plans; support UAT, go-live, and stabilization
  • Work within Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow for collaboration and ticket management

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Compass Rose implementation experience build-focused, not solely project management or advisory
  • Multiple end-to-end Compass Rose implementations from design through go-live and post-production support
  • Experience implementing at least two of the following Compass Rose solutions (more is better): Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM), Transitional Care Management (TCM), Complex Care Management (CCM), Care Management
  • Strong Assignment & Attribution Loader expertise required including configuration and end-to-end roster workflows across multiple payers
  • Epic Healthy Planet expertise; Epic Healthy Planet certification required, multiple Epic certifications ideal
  • Healthcare industry experience required; large health system or integrated delivery network experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of care management workflows, population health operations, and value-based care programs
  • Proven ability to lead meetings and demos, communicate with executive and clinical stakeholders, and clearly articulate your build work
  • Collaborative, self-motivated working style no silos; knowledge-sharing with the internal team is a core expectation
