Who We Are
At EdConnective, we believe the most powerful tool in any classroom is the educator. Our mission is to ensure every student thrives by supporting exceptional teacher and leader growth. When educators grow, students win-and our work accelerates that growth every day.
If that excites you, you're in the right place. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences, and education levels.
Why You'll Love EdConnective

  • Smart Tools, Less Busywork - We use modern tech to automate the tedious and amplify the strategic.
  • Serious About Growth - We invest in you. With a personalized development plan and ongoing learning support, you'll have room to level up fast.
About the Role
Instructional Coaches partner directly with educators in virtual coaching relationships throughout the school year. Through one-on-one coaching conversations, instructional artifact review, and evidence-based reflection, coaches help teachers identify high-leverage next steps that lead to lasting instructional improvement.
At EdConnective, coaching is not evaluative-it's collaborative. Our coaches serve as thought partners who ask meaningful questions, facilitate reflection, analyze evidence of teaching and learning, and help educators translate professional learning into improved classroom practice.
Coaches receive onboarding and training in the EdConnective Coaching Model, which emphasizes relationship-building, data-informed decision-making, reflective practice, and actionable next steps. Coaches work with educators across a variety of instructional settings, including elementary, secondary, adult education, and other specialized learning environments.
What You'll Do
As an Instructional Coach, you will:
  • Build trusting, collaborative coaching relationships with educators.
  • Facilitate engaging virtual one-on-one coaching meetings throughout the school year.
  • Review instructional artifacts (classroom recordings, lesson plans, etc) and collect objective evidence of teaching and learning.
  • Analyze instructional practices and student learning evidence to identify strengths and opportunities for growth.
  • Partner with teachers to set meaningful professional goals and monitor progress over time.
  • Support educators in implementing research-based instructional practices that improve student outcomes.
  • Ask reflective questions that promote teacher ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Help educators translate professional learning into sustainable classroom practice.
  • Document coaching conversations and maintain accurate coaching records.
  • Collaborate with EdConnective team members to ensure a consistent, high-quality coaching experience.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate:
  • Believes coaching is about empowering educators-not evaluating them.
  • Builds authentic relationships and establishes trust quickly.
  • Is an exceptional listener who asks thoughtful, reflective questions.
  • Uses evidence and data to guide coaching conversations.
  • Thinks strategically and helps others solve complex instructional challenges.
  • Is organized, dependable, and highly responsive.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, virtual work environment.
  • Is passionate about continuous learning and supporting the growth of other educators.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in K-12 education, including at least three years of direct instructional coaching experience supporting educators through observation, feedback, goal-setting, and professional learning.
  • Experience as an instructional coach, mentor teacher, teacher leader, administrator, or similar instructional leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of effective instructional practices and adult learning.
  • Experience analyzing instructional and student learning data to inform next steps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience coaching educators across multiple grade levels and/or content areas.
  • Experience facilitating Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) or professional learning.
  • Experience supporting curriculum implementation or school improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and instructional settings.
Technology Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Computer with webcam and microphone.
  • Comfort using Zoom, Google Workspace, and other online collaboration tools.
