Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide remote therapy services to clients across Maryland. In this role, you will meet with individuals, couples, and families through a secure telehealth platform, helping clients work through relationship concerns, communication challenges, life transitions, stress, anxiety, and family conflict.

This position is a strong fit for a therapist who is comfortable building rapport virtually, creating practical treatment plans, and supporting clients with steady, clinically sound care. You will have the opportunity to do meaningful therapy work while maintaining the structure of a full-time remote role.

Location: Maryland
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete clinical assessments and identify client needs, goals, and areas of concern
  • Develop treatment plans that reflect each client's situation and progress
  • Support clients with relationship issues, family stress, communication patterns, grief, anxiety, and life adjustments
  • Keep accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record system
  • Use evidence-informed therapy methods appropriate for remote care
  • Maintain professional boundaries, client confidentiality, and ethical standards

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active Maryland LMFT, LCMFT, or equivalent independent clinical licensure
  • Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong written documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload in a remote setting
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
