Trusted Support Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team full-time. In this role, you will provide essential counseling services aimed at supporting individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues. This position operates in a remote work setting, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their work schedules effectively while providing support to clients across the region. You will engage with clients primarily through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience. Our outpatient office provides a resource-rich environment where mental health professionals can collaborate and share insights, even in a remote context.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to understand each individual's mental health conditions and specific needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique concerns of each client.
• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that promote emotional healing and encourage personal growth.
• Lead group therapy or family therapy sessions as appropriate to foster community support and facilitate family dynamics.
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Document all client interactions accurately, maintaining detailed records of progress, treatment strategies, and outcomes using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as workshops and webinars to stay abreast of the latest practices and innovations in mental health treatment.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with adults, adolescents, and children experiencing a diverse range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and behavioral challenges. You will utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other client-centered approaches to aid in their recovery.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor in Washington.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMRs) and telehealth platforms for efficient practice management.

• Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment, gaining familiarity with various mental health professionals.
• Previous work in a teletherapy or remote counseling setting is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of various mental health assessment tools and evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Background in family systems theory or trauma-informed care is a plus.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 85,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
