Analytica is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role will support DHA leadership and stakeholders by providing qualitative and quantitative analytics to inform decision-making across the agency. The position will require working closely with both technical teams and Military Health System (MHS) subject matter experts and engaging with the client on a regular basis to support recurring and ad-hoc data analysis needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze structured and unstructured datasets from multiple Military Health System (MHS) data sources to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Support recurring reporting requirements and respond to ad-hoc data requests from DHA leadership
  • Utilize SQL, SAS, Python, or similar tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze healthcare and operational data
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Document data processes, methodologies, and reporting procedures
  • Participate in regular client meetings and provide analytical support to ongoing program initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to data analysis, reporting, and visualization processes
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Military Health System (MHS) data, including systems such as M2, MDR, or similar healthcare data repositories
  • At least 1 year of experience creating and maintaining dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience in a client-facing role, supporting stakeholders or program leadership
  • Experience with at least one of the following programming languages:
    • SAS
    • SQL
    • R
    • Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA)
  • Familiarity with healthcare analytics, population health, or medical data reporting
  • Experience working in a federal government or Department of Defense (DoD) environment
