• Conduct individualized assessments and develop personalized therapy strategies according to clients’ specific needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to clients, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for all clients, including consultation with other health professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professional integrity.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and training sessions to remain current with evolving mental health practices and research.

Your role is pivotal in providing therapeutic support to help clients achieve their goals of recovery, independence, and overall well-being. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, you will promote a sense of safety and trust, empowering your clients to explore their struggles and obtain the tools necessary for growth.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon is required.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical context is essential.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport effectively with clients from various backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare team environment.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies.

• Specialization or expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in community health clinics or similar settings is a plus.
