Job description

Lavendo partners with startups and high‑growth companies to help them hire top‑tier sales, GTM, and technical talent. This role is with one of our clients; we’ll share full details about the company and interview process as we get to know you and confirm mutual fit.

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing healthcare technology company building an AI agents platform that automates the entire patient journey — scheduling, intake, referrals, forms, document processing, and payments — natively integrated with leading EHR systems. The company has scaled rapidly since its 2023 founding, growing to over 170 employees and raising $222M from top-tier investors, with 20x revenue growth and 190 million+ patient interactions processed across 23 medical specialties.

The Mission

Our client is building healthcare technology "that remembers" — reducing patient hold times, improving scheduling accuracy, and expanding access to exceptional healthcare through AI, driving measurable outcomes like a 5% lift in appointment volume and a 115% increase in labor capacity for provider partners.

The Opportunity

As a Solutions Engineer, you will bridge the gap between go-to-market and engineering teams, driving technical pre-sales and building customized demos that showcase the value of an AI-driven healthcare platform. This is a senior individual contributor role supporting the MidMarket/Enterprise and Health Systems segments.

What You'll Do
  • Lead technical discovery calls, demos, and solution scoping with enterprise and health system prospects and customers

  • Partner with sales teams on proposals and product-fit conversations

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer insights and shape roadmap priorities

  • Build sales enablement materials from scratch, including architecture templates and demo guides, operating effectively without existing frameworks

  • Lead large, high-priority strategic cross-functional projects

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as pre-sales or solutions engineering

  • 1+ years of healthcare industry experience

  • Proven track record collaborating cross-functionally with account executives, engineering, and design teams

  • CS/engineering degree with strong technical fluency, including Python backend development skills and familiarity with tools like Lovable, Claude, or Cursor for demo-building

  • Strong technical depth and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into go-to-market language for non-technical stakeholders

  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools in daily workflows to improve productivity, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making

  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including experience with integrations or interoperability standards

  • Bonus: Experience with voice AI/VAPI technologies and healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7)

Key Success Drivers
  • A builder mentality — you thrive without established frameworks and enjoy creating processes from the ground up

  • Extremely customer-facing with strong communication skills and the ability to drive consensus by mapping business needs to technical solutions

  • Mission-driven mindset aligned with making healthcare more accessible through AI

  • Strategic thinker capable of leading complex, high-priority initiatives across teams

Why Join?
  • Competitive compensation: $220K–$250K OTE, plus competitive equity

  • Full health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) retirement savings plan

  • Unlimited PTO, commuter benefits, and reimbursement for at-home remote work setup

  • Health and wellness stipend, plus lunch, dinner, and snacks provided

  • Annual professional development budget and training opportunities

  • Dog-friendly office and networking opportunities across the tech and healthcare industries

  • Join a Series C-stage company that has raised $222M from top investors, backed by explosive 20x revenue growth over the past 15 months

Interviewing Process
  1. Recruiter Screen — Brief culture and background screen

  2. Hiring Manager Screen — Deeper dive into your sales experience, demo skills, and enterprise customer engagement

  3. Technical Assessment — Assessment of your Python proficiency, architecture knowledge, and ability to handle technical customer questions

  4. Demo Walkthrough — Present a customized demo, showcasing how you translate technical concepts into customer value

  5. Final Onsite — Full Day in San Francisco — Meet the team, experience the environment firsthand, and demonstrate how you'd operate day-to-day. This is where culture fit, hustle, and autonomy are evaluated directly.
