Job description

OrthoLoneStarย is seeking a board-certified Neurologist withย expertiseย in neurophysiology to join our remote neuromonitoring team. As an integral part of our organization, you will provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) studies to helpย optimizeย patient care across theย State of Texas.ย 
Responsibilitiesย 
The Neurologist - Interpreting Physicianย is responsible forย real-time analysis of electrophysiological data generated during surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgical teams and IONM technologists to support positive patient outcomes.ย 

Provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring data and communicate findings directly to surgical teamsย 

  • Correlate electrophysiological findings with the patient's clinical status to support surgical decision-makingย 

  • Conduct comprehensive post-operative case reviews and complete detailed reportsย 

  • Contribute to quality assurance and improvement efforts toย maintainย high standardsย of neuromonitoring servicesย 

  • Maintain current knowledge of advancements and best practices in neuromonitoringย 


  • Board-certified Neurologist withย expertiseย in electrophysiologyย 

  • Fellowship in intraoperative neuromonitoringย required;ย a doctorate in the field is preferredย 

  • Strong understanding of intraoperative neuromonitoring modalities (e.g., SSEPs, MEPs, BAERs, EMG)ย 

  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative careย 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsย 

  • Strong communicationย and interpersonal skillsย 

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environmentย 

  • Prior experience in IONM is strongly preferredย
