This position is remote, enabling you to provide vital support to students in various school settings from the comfort of your own home. While you will interact virtually with students, families, and educational staff, you will be a key part of an experienced team of social workers and mental health providers who work collaboratively to enhance student outcomes. • Collaborate with educators, school administrators, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive support to students facing various mental health challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand student needs, followed by the development of customized treatment plans and intervention strategies.
• Provide direct support to students and their families by facilitating therapy sessions, which may include individual, group, or family counseling.
• Regularly evaluate student progress through ongoing case reviews and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record systems.
• Stay current on the latest evidence-based practices in social work and mental health by participating in continuous professional development opportunities.

This role focuses on serving students in educational settings, addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and trauma. By fostering a supportive environment, you will help students develop coping strategies and resilience, enabling them to thrive academically and socially.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A current and valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Virginia is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment techniques and treatment planning tailored specifically for the educational environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or social work, particularly within school settings or with youth populations.

• Background in crisis intervention and developing support plans for at-risk students.
