Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), basic SEO concepts, and word processing tools like Google Docs or Microsoft Word is typically required. Attention to detail, time management, and proactive communication are standout soft skills for remote editorial work. What are remote editorial interns?

Remote editorial interns are individuals who assist editorial teams with tasks such as writing, editing, fact-checking, and content management, all while working from a location outside of the physical office. These internships are typically offered by media companies, publishers, or content-driven organizations looking to provide students or early-career professionals with hands-on editorial experience.
