• Conduct thorough assessments during initial consultations with clients to identify their mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that align with each client's personal goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using inclusive and culturally responsive approaches, adapting techniques to best meet the needs of diverse client backgrounds.
• Regularly evaluate clients' progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide referrals to supplementary healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or additional services are required.
• Document client interactions effectively in the EHR system, maintaining accurate records in compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, employing strong crisis management skills to support clients in distress.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client population that includes individuals dealing with various mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will encounter clients from different cultural backgrounds, and your ability to engage with and understand their unique experiences will be central to your success in this position. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid state license (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to practice as a mental health counselor.
• Minimum of four years of related experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy practices.
• Demonstrated ability to provide both individual and group therapy while utilizing culturally responsive methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficient with EHR systems and adept in using various computer applications pertinent to the role.
• A strong commitment to professional ethics, including maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and treatment efficacy.

• Experience with telehealth practices and virtual counseling platforms.
• A background in crisis management or emergency mental health intervention.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems for clients facing socio-economic challenges.
