What is a remote Eastern Shipbuilding job?

A Remote Eastern Shipbuilding job refers to a position with Eastern Shipbuilding Group, a major shipbuilding company based in the eastern United States, that allows employees to work remotely rather than on-site at the shipyard. These roles are typically in areas such as engineering, project management, design, IT, or administrative support, where remote work is feasible. Remote positions offer flexibility and can attract talent from a wider geographic area while supporting company operations. Not all shipbuilding roles can be performed remotely, especially those related to physical construction or maintenance, but some support and technical roles have adapted to remote work arrangements.
