Critical Process Filtration, a TCPA Company, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality filtration solutions for pharmaceutical, electronics, process water, and gas filtration. For over 25 years, Critical Process Filtration has been designing filtration products, and our own machinery, with the goal of becoming the number one manufacturer of process filters. We serve companies that clarify and purify components of their products to assure patient and consumer safety, and their productโ€™s brand. Our ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility is located in Nashua, New Hampshire, where we assemble and package all of our products in a clean-room environment. Critical Process cartridge, capsule, and laboratory products are being used today by leading companies in the life sciences, food and beverage, healthcare, water purification, and technology industries. We are looking for dedicated people to join our growing team.

Summary of Role:

The Operations Manager oversees daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, resources, and staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes. The Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities:

ยท Directs and oversees all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, workflow management, and equipment utilization.

ยท Implements and maintains operational procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 and company standards.

ยท Monitors production KPIs and drives continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality.

ยท Coordinates with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production and timely delivery of products.

ยท Manages production staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.

ยท Ensures proper maintenance of machinery, equipment, and production facilities.

ยท Oversees inventory control, materials management, and resource allocation to minimize downtime and waste.

ยท Leads safety initiatives and ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

ยท Develops and implements operational budgets, monitors expenses, and identifies opportunities for cost savings.

ยท Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ยท Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.

ยท Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies, and ISO 9001 standards.

ยท Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.

ยท Proficiency with manufacturing software, inventory systems, spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing (Word).

ยท Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, production reports, and technical documents.

ยท Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to staff, management, and customers.
