Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Learning Experience Designer to support a high-profile advanced markets training initiative for top financial advisors and senior leaders. This individual will serve as a strategic learning consultant responsible for designing, developing, and launching engaging learning solutions that drive business performance and learner readiness. The ideal candidate is an experienced instructional designer who can partner with business leaders, translate complex concepts into effective learning experiences, and manage multiple stakeholders while delivering polished, launch-ready assets on accelerated timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with business leaders, subject matter experts, and learning partners to assess needs and translate business goals into learning solutions.
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and launch of learning resources across multiple modalities.
  • Curate and centralize learning content from various platforms into cohesive self-directed learning experiences.
  • Develop approximately 32 learning topics across 16 learning modules.
  • Create and maintain learning assets including:
  • eLearning modules
  • Video-based learning content
  • Facilitator guides
  • Job aids and resource guides
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Assessments and knowledge checks
  • Performance support materials
  • Create and manage video-based learning assets, including storyboarding, scripting, recording, editing, review cycles, and publishing.
  • Analyze learner needs, workflows, and performance gaps to recommend targeted learning solutions.
  • Develop measurable learning objectives and align content accordingly.
  • Design and implement post-learning assessments to measure effectiveness.
  • Prototype, test, and refine learning materials based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Partner effectively across cross-functional and matrixed teams to drive projects forward and meet critical deadlines.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience with demonstrated success delivering end-to-end learning solutions.
  • Strong expertise in adult learning principles and learning experience design.
  • Experience consulting directly with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience creating learning content across multiple modalities, including:
  • Video
  • eLearning
  • Facilitator-led training materials
  • Job aids
  • Assessments
  • Digital learning resources
  • Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within financial services, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting high-visibility enterprise learning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Clients learning environments and processes.


Technology Requirements

  • LMS Experience (NM Learn preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Video production and editing tools (Riviera preferred)


Portfolio Requirements

Candidates selected for interviews must provide a portfolio showcasing work completed within the past three years, including:

  • Video-based learning content (ideally interview-style videos with animation)
  • eLearning modules
  • Digital learning resources and performance support materials


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check.


As a contractor, you will be paid for the time you work; this does not include paid time off (PTO) or holidays. If you participate in our Payroll Services (W2) engagement, you may be eligible for Paid Sick Leave (PSL), depending on your work location and state-specific regulations.
