The Millennial Counseling Centre is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team in a remote, full-time capacity. This role is pivotal in delivering specialized mental health care tailored to individuals affected by trauma. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ trauma history, and help identify suitable evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building for diverse patient profiles.
  • Utilize established therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, establish coping strategies, and progress towards recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and rehabilitation professionals to provide comprehensive integrated care for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response for clients in distress.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with valuable resources.

Qualifications
  • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
