We are in search of a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist, eligible as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, to join our team at Solace Springs Therapy. This full-time position offers a remote work setting, providing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or preferred location. As a therapist in a detox center, you will engage with clients facing severe challenges in their recovery journey. • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at achieving therapeutic goals and enhancing clients’ overall quality of life.
• Perform thorough initial and ongoing psychological assessments to tailor treatment plans effectively to each client's unique needs.
• Collaborate actively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights that shape comprehensive treatment strategies and ensure continuity of care for clients.
• Take on a leadership role through optional Level II additional duties, which may include supervising Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors.
• Document and monitor client progress, adapting treatment approaches as required to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Engage in community outreach and education efforts as needed, offering support to broader community initiatives related to mental health and substance abuse recovery.

You will work directly with individuals who are coping with various forms of substance abuse, alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. This population often requires tailored interaction strategies that cultivate a therapeutic alliance and promote engagement in treatment. By understanding the social and psychological dimensions of substance use, you will be better equipped to guide clients through their recovery journeys.

• Education: A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required to ensure a solid grounding in therapeutic concepts and ethics.
• License: Candidates must possess a current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Strong communication skills are essential, as you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of mental health awareness.

• At least three years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders and substance abuse treatment is preferred, reflecting your ability to manage complex clinical situations.
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be crucial in achieving positive client outcomes.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology is valuable, facilitating cooperation with psychiatrists and medical professionals to optimize treatment plans.
• A proven track record of effectively treating mood disorders and achieving defined treatment goals will distinguish your candidacy.
