This position offers a remote working arrangement for candidates located in any state where we have an office.

The Position

Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Paralegal to join a national team supporting a broad litigation portfolio. This role will assist with investigations, matter intake, preserving evidence, and maintaining evidence databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of attorneys, performs a range of investigation and file management duties related to legal hold requests and litigation discovery requests
  • Obtains and manages client documents, including electronic data, and identifies potentially relevant materials for each case
  • Assists with coordinating efforts between client personnel, attorneys, and outside vendors
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with stakeholders both within and outside the Firm
  • Maintains and organizes evidentiary data and case-related information in accordance with best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation, including assisting with the coordination, and management of document productions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate is a plus
  • Minimum 1-2+ years litigation paralegal experience
  • Experience with legal holds and evidence preservation is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with collaboration and work management software is a plus
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, is a plus
  • Proficiency with data entry

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Salary Range:
$70,000โ€”$80,000 USD
