Mindful Therapy & Wellness, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes other therapists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, creating an integrated support system to enhance patient outcomes. • Provide individual and family counseling, offering crisis intervention and assessment of emotional and behavioral challenges patients may face.
• Develop and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with organizational policies to ensure proper patient care and treatment continuity.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teammates to craft and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including discharge strategies, utilizing accepted social work interventions and thorough psychosocial assessments.
• Actively engage with community resource groups to establish strong partnerships and advocate for the social needs of patients, representing Mindful Therapy & Wellness at relevant meetings and committees.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Mindful Therapy & Wellness, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, families, and older adults. You will address a variety of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to relationship conflicts and trauma. Our commitment to cultural competency means recognizing and embracing the individuality of each patient, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
• Strong foundational knowledge in therapeutic methodologies applicable to individuals and families.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational and analytical competencies to navigate treatment protocols and record-keeping effectively.
• Understanding of and adherence to established clinical policies and the ability to make informed, timely decisions in patient care.

• A minimum of three years of professional therapy experience in outpatient settings, with a focus on crisis counseling for adults, children, and families.
• Demonstrated ability to form therapeutic alliances and effectively engage clients in treatment.
• Experience in community outreach and resource coordination to enhance patient support networks.
