This role focuses on providing support and intervention to infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays within a school setting. As an LCSW, you will be essential in facilitating improvements in child well-being and development while collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of infants and toddlers with disabilities or delays.
  • Collaborate with families and multi-disciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), tailoring support to each family's unique circumstances.
  • Monitor progress by regularly reviewing outcomes and adjusting strategies as necessary, ensuring that goals remain aligned with the developmental needs of the child.
  • Provide ongoing support to families, equipping them with the skills and resources necessary for fostering optimal child development.
  • Adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Cultivate trusting relationships with children and families, creating a conducive environment for learning and growth.
  • Design individualized treatment strategies grounded in evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Principles.
  • Utilize the coaching model and natural environment teaching approaches to enhance family engagement and child outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clients will be infants and toddlers facing a range of developmental challenges. This age group requires a unique understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies. You will work in close collaboration with families, helping them navigate their child's developmental path and empowering them with knowledge and resources to facilitate growth and progress.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Valid LCSW licensure issued by the relevant Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license is required to facilitate potential travel for client assessments and team meetings.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in early intervention services dedicated to children.
  • Demonstrated experience with and commitment to the Natural Learning Environment Practices for child development.
  • Bilingual abilities are considered a strong asset, enhancing our capacity to serve diverse communities.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential for maintaining effective case management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a team, showcasing respect and appreciation for varied roles within the group.
Preferred Experience

Experience working in educational settings or directly within schools is highly beneficial. Compensation and Benefits
