Job description

Role Overview

As the Senior Director, Technology Enablement, you will lead the development and governance of standardized offers, commercial narratives, and enterprise content strategies that support business growth, client retention, and operational excellence.

This highly collaborative role serves as a strategic connector across Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, Marketing, Digital, Product, and Proposal teams to ensure solutions are market-ready, financially sound, operationally executable, and positioned effectively in the marketplace.

You will transform complex technology, digital, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI capabilities into compelling client value propositions, helping teams articulate the impact of Sodexo's solutions in a clear, consistent, and differentiated way.

Reporting within the Tech, Data, Digital & Innovation organization, this role plays a critical part in enabling commercial success by creating scalable offers, compelling stories, and reusable assets that drive growth and strengthen client relationships.

This is a remote role with up to 30% travel and the preferred candidate located in the Eastern Standard Time Zone

What You'll Do
Develop Market-Ready Solutions and Offers
  • Lead the creation and management of a portfolio of standardized technology, digital, data, infrastructure, security, and AI offers aligned to business priorities and market demand.
  • Ensure each offer includes defined scope, pricing assumptions, implementation requirements, operating models, technical specifications, and ownership structures.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to package solutions that are commercially viable, operationally executable, and client-focused.
Drive Commercial Storytelling and Strategic Positioning
  • Create compelling narratives that translate complex technical capabilities into meaningful business outcomes for clients.
  • Develop value propositions, differentiators, executive presentations, and client-facing content that support growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain storytelling frameworks that enable consistency across sales, proposal, and client engagement activities.
Support Strategic Bids and Client Pursuits
  • Collaborate with sales and proposal teams on strategic bids, renewals, and growth opportunities.
  • Participate in proposal strategy sessions, solution workshops, finalist presentations, and client discussions as needed.
  • Provide approved content, commercial messaging, pricing inputs, and solution narratives that improve speed to market and win rates.
Establish Governance and Content Excellence
  • Develop governance processes, approval workflows, and refresh cycles that ensure offers remain current, competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain a centralized knowledge repository of approved offers, reusable content, case studies, and proposal assets.
  • Drive content adoption and utilization across teams through effective communication, engagement, and change management strategies.
Influence Enterprise Alignment
  • Serve as a trusted partner across Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment on offer development and market positioning.
  • Foster collaboration among business and technical stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs and organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance commercial effectiveness through standardized processes, reusable assets, and continuous improvement

What You Bring
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales enablement, business development, consulting, technology strategy, product management, commercial operations, or cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting complex client environments within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven success leading strategic bids, RFP responses, renewals, and executive-level client presentations.
Commercial and Strategic Expertise
  • Demonstrated experience developing go-to-market offerings, commercial solutions, pricing frameworks, and standardized service portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, account growth strategies, proposal development, and client retention initiatives.
  • Experience building executive-level business cases, value propositions, and persuasive storytelling strategies.
Content & Storytelling Excellence
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex technical and operational concepts into compelling client-focused narratives.
  • Expertise in content governance, lifecycle management, and development of reusable sales enablement assets.
  • Experience creating executive presentations, proposal content, case studies, and knowledge-sharing resources that drive business outcomes.
Technical & Business Acumen
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology domains including digital platforms, cloud solutions, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing, costing, financial modeling, ROI development, and margin considerations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts and business leaders to create comprehensive solutions.
Leadership & Influence
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success leading change initiatives, driving adoption of new processes, and building alignment across diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Technical Proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, CRM platforms, content management tools, and proposal automation solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prosci Change Management, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, or sales enablement credentials are a plus.
