Job description

Technology Services Group Inc. seeks Director, Infrastructure Engineering Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, to contribute to developing strategy and implement it for designing and developing solutions to application problems, system administration issues, or infrastructure concerns. Direct systems management and integration functions. Handle relationships with vendors and executive stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and implement the procedures and the execution covering all configuration issues in a full software lifecycle. Develop and implement strategic processes for implementation and maintenance activities for computer system software and configurations. Contribute to developing strategy for implementing and integrating middleware software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment, dealing with development projects that have a broad impact across the organization. Evaluate current methods and strategies, and implement changes and improvements. Provide senior-level consulting in identifying and solving highly critical middleware issues and serve as a senior-level resource on middleware issues related to policies and standards that impact the corporation. Implement projects consistent with long-term IT plans. Assist with the coordination of activities with other IT unit heads. Establish and ensure compliance with policies and procedures for activities within Infrastructure Operations. Report results to the Sr. Leader. Manage organizational budgets. Manage relationships with vendors and executive stakeholders. Contribute to the achievement of related teams\' objectives. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field, and twelve (12) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Twelve (12) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing and developing technical solutions to application problems using IDEs like VS code, Eclipse, or PyCharm; Handling support system administration issues, and infrastructure concerns using Service Manager, ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, or VersionOne tools; Utilizing SDLC through Waterfall model, or Agile to develop, maintain, and implement configuration management plans, procedures, and execution; Performing data operating models, data platforms, data modeling, and data engineering. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Developing detailed design patterns for Hadoop, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL data platforms, that provide multi-zone and multi-region high availability, disaster recovery horizontal scalability; Performing data engineering, and data management using Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP Cloud; and Coding using Python and Pyspark programming languages for Data Analytics and ETL. Ten percent (10%) travel required, domestic.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $200,707.00 - $238,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 

This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
