Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: (Raleigh, NC/ Phoenix, AZ/ Charlotte, NC)

Leads and executes strategic product and enterprise data objectives that support Commercial Finance initiatives. Partners with business and technology stakeholders to define product strategies, priorities, and roadmaps while aligning solutions to business goals. Acts as a key liaison between business teams and delivery partners, driving technical innovation and continuous improvement through data-driven solutions. Directs initiatives to enhance data quality, governance, reporting, analytics, and Enterprise Data Warehouse capabilities. Provides expert guidance to leadership, associates, and business partners, ensuring the delivery of trusted data, actionable insights, and scalable solutions that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and business performance.


Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy - Partner with business stakeholders to define, refine, and align on vision, strategy, priority, scope, and roadmap. Lead the develop and execution of a product vision and roadmap that aligns with business goals. Prioritize initiatives and define scope for Program Increments (PI), sprints and MVPs. Identify risks and dependencies and proactively mitigate them. Utilize subject matter expert knowledge to build strategic long-term solutions.
  • Product Management - Develop a prioritization framework and strategy for delivery initiatives. Prepare/refine product backlog and roadmap and work with the cross-functional teams to execute the product backlog. Plan and create initiatives, features, epics and stories in JIRA.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management - articulate the product vision and roadmap persuasively to all stakeholders. Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and manage expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Product Management, Scrum, Agile OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Product Management, Scrum, Agile

Preferred: 

  • Understanding of data warehousing and transformation as well as extract, transform, and load processes, Knowledge of technologies and trends impacting the financial service and insurance industry.
  • Experience in Banking, Data Warehouse/Data Lakes, AWS/ Snowflake
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record of leading agile data product delivery across cross-functional teams using agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
  • Domain expertise in Customer Data, Marketing highly preferred
