Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a complex cybersecurity infrastructure for our organization with multiple remote facilities. This role requires a strong background in network engineering and hands-on experience with the Fortinet suite of products. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a proactive approach to safeguarding our enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity and network infrastructure across enterprise and remote facilities.
  • Manage and optimize Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
  • Monitor and analyze network and security events to detect, prevent, and respond to threats.
  • Perform regular incident response activities, including investigation, remediation, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain security best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of new network and cybersecurity projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong proficiency with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager).
  • Relevant Fortinet certifications (e.g., NSE 4/5/6/7) strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
  • Experience with incident response and threat analysis.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
