  • This role will lead growth marketing strategy and execution for Academics and Advocate Health National Center for Clinical Trials.

  • Fully Remote Role from these states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.

  • Due to complex requirements, remote work is NOT permitted for short or long periods in: CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA and working Internationally (this includes working while on vacation).

  • No relocation, No Sponsorship or transfer of visa for this position now or in the future.

Pay Range:

$51.05 - $76.60

The Growth Marketing Manager develops and executes integrated, data-driven marketing strategies that drive growth for Advocate Health's Academics portfolio and National Center for Clinical Trials. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into marketing plans, optimize performance across the consumer journey, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings expertise in both B2C and B2B marketing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to engage diverse audiences including consumers, physicians, researchers, faculty, and healthcare leaders.

Major Responsibilities:

Growth Marketing Strategy

  • Independently develop and execute integrated growth marketing strategies informed by consumer insights, data, and business priorities

  • Translate research, analytics, and market signals into actionable marketing plans that drive performance across the full consumer journey

  • Define audience strategies using segmentation, personas, and journey insights to deliver relevant,data-drivencampaigns

  • Target key audiences by applying a strong understandingof all media channels, including digital and emerging channels, to deploythe most effective, data-drivenmarketingmix

CrossFunctionalLeadership and Collaboration

  • Leadcrossfunctionalteams and agency partners through influence, aligning stakeholders around shared goals

  • Serve as a strategic marketing advisor, clearly communicating plans, performance, and insights to business and marketing partners

  • Operate effectively in a matrixed environment, balancing competing priorities whilemaintainingaccountability for results

Performance, Optimization, and Innovation

  • Definegoals,objectives,KPIs,andsuccess metrics to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and ROI

  • Leverage data, analytics, testing, and emerging tools (including AI and automation) to drive ongoing performance improvement

  • Stay connected to evolving media platforms, consumer behavior, and industry trends to inform marketing strategy and execution

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degreeor relevantknowledgein Marketing, Communications orotherbusiness-related field

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketingor other business-related fieldand management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Experience developing marketing strategies for both B2C and B2B audiences.

  • Ability to tailor marketing approaches for consumers, physicians, researchers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to turn insights into marketing action

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, emerging media channels, and their role within an integrated strategy

  • Experience leading work through influence acrosscross-functionalteams

  • Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly to diverse stakeholders

  • Working knowledge of CRM, performance measurement, and fullfunnel marketing strategy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Clinical trial experience

  • Familiarity with clinical research environments and the stakeholder landscape that includes consumers, physicians, researchers, faculty, and healthcare leaders.

  • Experience supporting marketing initiatives related to academic medicine, healthcare research, innovation, or clinical programs.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing B2B and B2C marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
