Job Summary

Reporting to the Corporate VP of Supply Chain, the Manager, Supply Chain Tools & Analytics owns and champions Leonardo DRS's enterprise supply chain digital toolset. This hands-on role manages the full tool lifecycle-from requirements and design through releases, maintenance, training, and continuous improvement-while bridging supplier data interchange, digital product ownership, and analytics. The position delivers decision-grade insight on supplier performance and risk, program impacts, commodity trends, and obsolescence, leveraging advanced Power BI and evolving AI capabilities. The role is remote/hybrid with limited travel to DRS sites.

Job Responsibilities

Enterprise Tool Ownership - Supplier Portal and Supplier Central
Own the product roadmap/backlog and release plan in coordination with IT, serving as the primary interface for supply chain stakeholders and external supplier users.  
Lead module and workflow design/enhancements; manage configuration governance, revision control, documentation, and release notes.  
Develop and deliver internal/external training, job aids, and onboarding materials to drive adoption.

Power BI Dashboard Governance
Build, maintain, and govern enterprise Power BI dashboards for supplier performance, spend, risk illumination, commodity trends, and program impact.  
Own data model stewardship, metric definitions, and data integrity; maintain working knowledge of DataMart, queries, and data availability/issues tied to BU processes.  
Translate stakeholder needs into scalable reporting, benchmark BU best practices, and manage/prioritize enhancements via structured change control.

Supplier Scorecard & Supplier Performance Intelligence
Own the supplier scorecard framework (KPIs, definitions, scoring methodology) and roadmap for enhancements.  
Develop early-warning performance and risk signals (quality, delivery, financial, geopolitical) and support BUs with trend analysis and scorecard/data troubleshooting.

AI Automation & Digital Transformation
Identify and implement automation opportunities across supply chain workflows (e.g., RFQ, requisition-to-PO, compliance) to reduce transactional burden and cycle time.  
Lead the Supply Chain AI User Group to share best practices and accelerate deployment of AI solutions using internal tools and integrated data.  
Deploy and improve AI-enabled supplier risk capabilities responsibly while championing digital adoption and continuous improvement.

Commodity Pricing & Market Trend Insights
Develop and maintain commodity pricing and market insight capabilities using approved third-party sources (e.g., IHS) and internal spend/category data.  
Integrate external signals into recurring market intelligence packages for sourcing and leadership (monthly/quarterly).

Supply Chain Risk Illumination
Deploy and enhance an AI Risk Illuminator with IT to enable early warning visibility to external/internal risks and program/material impacts.  
Support "where-used" and sub-tier visibility capabilities to improve insight into OEM dependencies and critical materials exposure.

Obsolescence Management
Own/support obsolescence inputs, alert workflows, and mitigation tracking within enterprise tools; partner with Engineering, Sourcing, and Programs to drive action.  
Enhance tools and processes for active monitoring and closed-loop end-of-life planning (e.g., lifetime buy, redesign), leveraging solutions such as Z2 and Silicon Expert.

Other
Provide additional enterprise reporting/analytics support as needed (e.g., Quality, Operations, Business Processes) in support of COO priorities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field - with demonstrated focus on tools, analytics, or digital enablement
  • Expert proficiency in Power BI data modeling, dashboard design, governance
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools or automation platforms; aptitude and capability to develop new AI automation solutions
  • Experience with digital product ownership, tool governance and change control
  • Demonstrated ability to write requirements, lead UAT, and manage release cycles
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage peaks in workload, while managing internal customer expectations, status and follow-ups
  • Adequate presentation and training skills internally and externally for suppliers
  • Ability to lead working groups, establish strong rapport and network with a wide range of Business Unit partners
  • Ability to work effectively/independently in Remote/Hybrid position, working from a home office with ~10% travel to Business Units
